Flood Risk Assessment


A Flood Risk Assessment is required as part of any planning application if your site is over one hectare in size in Flood Zone 1 and for all proposals for new developments located in Flood Zones 2 and 3.

Alterations and small scale extensions are generally outside the scope of these policies, provided they are unlikely to have a significant effect on the storage capacity of the functional flood plain or affect local flooding problems.
